Collection: Guernsey Jumper Edit

Guernsey sweaters originate from the English Channel island, and were originally worn by local fishermen to protect them from the ruthless conditions at sea, thanks to a very tight knitting technique. Today's designs are the result of centuries of knitting traditions passed down through generations, and in most cases solely by memory. The cashmere or lambswool jumpers also feature intricate knitting details and patterns with various symbols and meanings. Made in Scotland, our luxurious new Guernsey jumpers feature details around the sleeves initially intended to bring good luck to the fishermen.
