Pringle Lion Collections

Historically, Pringle of Scotland's logo has been the lion in a 'rampant' pose—a heraldic term describing a lion standing upright with forepaws raised. This emblem, known as the 'Lion Rampant' has deep roots in Scottish heritage and royal symbolism, representing bravery and strength. Pringle's adoption of this symbol underscores the brand's Scottish origins and its commitment to blending tradition with modern style.

 

In the 1980s, the lion was combined with the Pringle ‘Bubble’ logo to form what was known as the ‘Striker’. This became a must-have badge of honour among enthusiasts of the colourful knitwear Pringle was known for at the time.

 

As part of our rebrand, we have reinterpreted the Striker logo, combining a modern incarnation of the lion with the heritage-inspired bubble logo. This underscores Pringle’s dedication to its rich history and resonates with long-time fans and a new generation appreciative of the brand’s timeless designs.
