This classic Argyle jumper is inspired by an original design from the Pringle archive and features our signature diamond pattern in Burgundy, Navy Blue & Grey Melange with a subtle raker stitch in Jasmine. A true icon of the 1980s, the Argyle pattern is rooted in Scottish heritage, originally derived from the tartan of Clan Campbell of Argyll in western Scotland. In the 1920s, Pringle pioneered the intarsia knitting technique used to craft this distinctive design, a hallmark of the brand ever since. Reimagined in a contemporary colour palette, the jumper also features our iconic Pringle lion embroidered logo, paired with vintage-inspired typography and subtle house stripe rib detail along the side seam. Made from 100% supersoft lambswool with a luxurious 17.5-micron fibre diameter, the knit offers exceptional softness and a smooth, premium finish.
